Dubbing

Akan is a Central Tano language that is the principal native language of the Akan people of Ghana. It belongs to the Kwa group of the Niger-Congo language family. It is spoken as a first language in six (Ashanti, Eastern, Central, Brong Ahafo, Western and Volta) out of the ten (10) regions in Ghana and also in Cte d'Ivoire. Akan languages has many dialects (lingustic and political) the main being Akuapem Twi, Asante Twi, Fante. (Other political dialects include Agona, Gomua, Brong, Wassa, Kwahu, Akyem.

The Asante and the Akuapem (Akwapim)dialects together form the Twi group.
