The Abaza language (абаза бызшва, abaza byzšwa; Adyghe: абазэбзэ) is a language spoken by the Abazins. It consists of two dialects, the Ashkherewa dialect and the T'ap'anta dialect, which is the literary standard.

Other dialects include Ashkharawa, Abazakt, Apsua, Kubin-Elburgan, Kuvin and Psyzh-Krasnovostok. The Abaza language is called "Abazin" which belongs to Abkhazo-Adyghian language group of Caucasian languages. It is very close to Abkhaz language but has distinctive consonants and limited number of distinctive vowels.
