Makassarese (Makasar, Makassar, or Macassar) is a language used by the Makassarese people in South Sulawesi in Indonesia. It is a member of the South Sulawesi group (Western Malayo-Polynesian(WMP)) of the Austronesian language family. Key Dialects : Gowa and Takalar. Konjo and Selayarese are close to Makassarese but they are different language.
