Mòcheno (de inger sproch) is an Upper German (West) (Bavarian dialect) variety spoken in three towns of the Mocheni Valley in Trentino, northeastern Italy. Dialects include Fierozzo (Florutz), Palú (Palai) and Frassilongo (Gereut). Other regional languages spoken in Italy are Cimbrian (Tzimbro, Zimbrisch) ; Italkian ; Piedmontese; Ladin (ladino); Ligurian; Neapolitan-Calabrese; Emiliano-Romagnolo; Venetian; Sicilian.
