Kalanga (Ikalanga, TjiKalanga)is a Shona-Nyai language, spoken in Botswana and Zimbabwe. Key dialects Lilima (TjiLilima) (Botswana), TjiNamby, Nyai, and Kalanga (TjiNnu) of the Plumtree area. Kalanga shares about 75% of its core vocabulary with literary Standard Shona.
