Newar (Nepal Bhasha) is a Tibeto-Burman language spoken by Newar(Newāh)people in Nepal. Most speakers are located in the Kathmandu Valley of Nepal, although there are other Newar communities scattered throughout the country. Dialects vary as per regions (e.g Dolakha Newar ; Tauthali Newar; Balami Newar ) Kathmandu Newar is considered as the standard dialect. Newar language also its own script Ranjana Lipi.
