Swiss German dialect comprise any of of the Alemannic dialects spoken in Switzerland and in some Alpine communities in Northern Italy. The main linguistic divisions within Swiss German are those of Low, High and Highest Alemannic.

High Alemannic > Bernese German ; Walliser German; Zürich German (sub-dialects exisit within this).
